Part 3 – Enabling Active Directory Authentication for the XenServer Pool

In this third part of the series we will integrate the XenServer pool with Active Directory in order to enable RBAC (Role Based Access Control.)

In XenCenter, select the pool TESTPOOL-01, click on the Users tab and then click on Join Domain.

Enter the domain admin credentials or any other account credentials that has domain join rights and click on OK.

As you can see below the XenServers are now part of the domain virtshinobi.local.

In the next part we will learn to configure role base access control for the XenServer pool.
